I watch quietly as the stars burst into a million pieces,
twisting and twirling before my now enlightened eyes.
The sky so dreary now filled with fire light, honestly, fire’s light.
I watch as the flames engulf the sky and nothing is but red;
red and blue and gold lining up in separate aurora's,
alive in it’s fire lit from, looking dangerous from where I stand.
Where I stand, is slowly disappearing.
The light becomes too much, it’s falling,
and so am I the ground beneath me gone.
My awe turns into terror,
something horrible has happened...
I’m falling.
My feet are unstable, but my mind is still there,
standing watching the stars bursting into life, but was it life?
Was it life or destruction?
I watch as my body drops into a pool of the red, and gold and blue,
I am the sky.

Meaning: I wrote this based on my fears/literal nightmares and how normally my dreams don't make sense. And I can tend to transform into different things, or people or objects. Also, a lot of times there is this uncertainty of what is really going on in my dreams, and that itself (the uncertainty, the strangeness) makes it a nightmare.
I believe in that, which is not seen. I call it truth, faith, hope, life.

She was left on the road, the rain on her skin was like ice melting on an icicle, she was cold, and it was melting her away.
She stayed there though, in the midst of the rain, unable to move her body, her arms; her heart was the only thing that seemed alive.
At least it was not dead, at least they did not leave with her heart in their hands.
With that she felt stronger, strong enough to move a little, strong enough to wipe her tears that suddenly erupted in the midst of all the water surrounding her.
She started walking, her feet moving one after the other she couldn’t stop, she couldn’t think, she couldn’t breathe, and yet, she knew she was alive, her heart still beat within her she was still strong.
Just getting stronger.
I believe in that, which is not seen. I call it truth, faith, hope, life.

closed eyes silky skin small breath little chin arms out nose round little hair or none found every breath so precious every moment so memorable they wait for the scream; for the cry make its way into the heart of the one who gave birth

This is a unique poem that I wanted to feel short, self explanatory. I started with just two words and irregular rhymes and continued on, making it just a bit longer. : )
I believe in that, which is not seen. I call it truth, faith, hope, life.

Nightmares - ooh so I love the twist in the end with what the colors ended up meaning (the sky!) and how you kept the colors moving throughout the poem, very interesting way of writing death! (I'm assuming like the blood and the turning into sky = death)
Birth - ooo nice experimentation here, short and brisk but still smooth! I think I like this one best for how clean and minimal it is <3 Great job!
I really loved birth! It was like a lovely list that somehow fit into being a poem as well. Simple, but artistic and creative. I love it <3

the dew on the yellow flower shinned out to me like sparkling gold that i can't keep but can see
how you light the morning with the sunshine of your heart bringing me closer to understanding the truth in
everything around me as i stand within the field of yellow daisy's dancing along with me mimicking my arms swaying
in the wind as i lose myself to the peace of the river to air flowing through the sky, what i would do for everyday to be today
is the day where my tomorrow is still a day away and my yesterday is still the day before i wake up to the light of
your smile.

Smiling
I'll never forget the first time we smiled. It was like the world stopped. And it was just you and I. You and I and your eyes glittering, your lips parting, your teeth showing, and my heart beating recklessly.
**** **** ****
Bitterness
My eyes squeezed shut, the taste collided with my hope collided with my dreams collided with my thoughts collided and stole them away.
**** **** ****
Don't Wait
Wait for me,
unless you know that you can wake up every single day without me
unless you're sure I'm not the one you need me to be
unless you feel nothing more for me than you do for that sweet little pup of yours
unless you think that I'll only be your side interest, your second thought
unless you only care about me because of what you get out of it, rather than because I'm important to you
unless you think I'm just like all the other girls you talk to, and know, if you think that I'm just "anyone"
unless you can go to bed every night without having thought of me once during the day and did not think to message me, to talk to me, because there are others
unless you don't love me
then don't wait,
I'll be gone.

Chase me
Running away from the clouds that chase me until I can run no more,
Splashing in a puddle on a raining day till my feet go numb,
Dancing to various clothing store's music until they leave me laughing on the floor,
those are the moments I live for.
**** **** ****
Imagination
When I closed my eyes I was not in my room, on my bed, there was no yelling, no shouting, no fighting, no tears, no fear, no. I was in another city, in another world, I was a queen, a princess, solider, fighter, I was laughing, singing, talking, smiling.
I was finally free.

Pitter Patter
The drips, they fall like I did to the ground, when I thought it was all over.
They disappear, into the world below, like I did when I couldn't bear to be seen.
The sound they make, reminds me of a clock ticking away the time I have left, to make it right again.
I believe in that, which is not seen. I call it truth, faith, hope, life.

What is a poet? An unhappy person who hides deep anguish in his heart, but whose lips are so formed that when the sigh and cry pass through them, it sounds like lovely music. — Søren Kierkegaard, Philosopher & Theologian
