Rurik Von Torunn

Return to A Lost Tomb

Creator: NPC
Roleplay: A Lost Tomb
Nickname:

Name: Rurik Von Torunn.
Age: 242.
Gender: Male.
Race: Dwarf.

Role: Commissioner.

Appearance: Rurik is 4'10'', sturdy and strong, and has piercing, clear blue eyes. He has a shorter, reddish-brown beard and long hair pulled up in a dutch braid that ties off into a ponytail at the nape of his neck. Clad in armor with a mace at his side, he's got a bright, energetic look about him.

Personality: Rurik is talkative, outgoing, and considered a go-getter by people who know him. He's very sociable and thrives off of meaningful conversation and getting to know others. Loves hearing and telling stories. He's the kind of guy who gives you a (maybe too) strong pat on the back to let you know he's happy you're there.
- Strengths: focused, confident, driven/ambitious, expressive, intelligent and well-read, open
- Weaknesses: overzealous, impulsive tendencies, so focused on the big picture/end goal he loses sight of practical details

Magic: Rurik has some magic, but not a lot. He can only really do small-scale light spells. Enough to light a lamp if you're going down a dark tunnel, but not enough light to fill a whole room.

History: Rurik was born to his father Thorik Von Turunn, and his mother Vamralesi in the deep of the mountains, but a year after his birth, his mother passed in a tragic accident. He has no memory of his mother, but grew up very close to his father, who ended up remarrying a beautiful human woman by the name of Melzei in his later years, who just so happened to be of a family of great wealth, and he became Ibessan nobility by adoption. Thorik and Melzei soon conceived and gave birth to his half-human brother, Jarrett. When his parents passed, Rurik inherited the family fortune and went on to spend most of his years as an adventurer.

Up For Love: As long as you don't conflict with his vision!!!! Dwarf's got things to achieve!!!

Other: Rurik likes to read and carries a few small books with him in his travels (though he wishes he could take more). He also likes cartography (map-making).
