Magic: Lynzee’s magic revolves around the concept of near-instantaneous Evolution. She can summon, tame and adopt the physiology of animals used for livestock (though she’s used to using caprines for that – goat-antelopes – she also masters the use of insects, and has very recently attempted to use flocks of avian creatures), which she uses to upgrade her own body, or change the body of her own creatures.
Gender: Certain sources refer to Pales as male, and others refer to him as female. Because of that, Lynzee is physically and mentally androgynous – to make things easier, however, she’d rather be referred to as “she” and “her”.
Appearance: Having spent a lot of time on fields, guiding her many pets through every piece of land she could travel on, Lynzee developed a deep tan that contrasted with her shiny platinum gray eyes. She also had had short curly ginger hair spread atop her head, with some of the curls reaching the upper side of her face. Lynzee usually wore a dungaree dress with a zipper that made it look like a short-sleeved yellow jacket with brown straps, under which she wore a gray shirt. She had a matching brown utility belt around the waist, with several empty bottles attached to the belt – bottles inside of which she held her insects.
For the lower body, Lynzee wore deep blue jeans to cover her legs and brown traveling boots with white socks. She also walked with a wooden walking staff decorated with a metallic pointy end, in case she had to plant it in hard ground.
Personality: If Lynzee were to define her main traits, her keywords would be: patient, creative, and quick to wander. She was a traveler by heart, always moving when she felt the need or the urge, alongside her beasts. Her interest in bugs and their new use by humanity has made her passionately excited by new things in general, and despite her rather rural dispositions, the concept of evolution, change or modification became a hobby of hers. She developed an undying cheerful nature (usually shown by wide, wide smiles) that transcended her calm from time to time, which gave her the tendency to appear having two personalities to those who talked to her, whereas she simply switches from calm to excited in rather quick and unpredictable successions.
Aside from that, Lynzee’s love of experimenting with things that evolve gave her a rather amoral stance, which contrasted with her initial love of life and cares for livestock. She likes meeting new and old people, as they usually remind her of what’s good and what isn’t, or inspire her on what she should do as, sometimes, her own identity seems confusing to even herself.
Up for Romance: Yes, especially if you’re a bug or a sheep. You still get bonus points if you like them. Oh, and she’s pansexual.
Backstory: Lynzee woke up on the Palatine Hill, one, of the seven hills of Rome, where a festival in her honor was happening. Though she had no real understanding of who she was, she took part in it and realized very quickly that she had a natural link with any beast that liked to gather in large numbers – especially caprine beasts. She eventually became a famous shepherd until the end of the Roman Empire, which brought her to travel around the world. It was then that she discovered that she could summon the beasts she took care of, or, sometimes, take their forms to limited degrees. As she traveled, she discovered more and more applications to her powers and made sure to use them in order to survive in the constantly evolving world.
It was when she found herself in India that she discovered the practice of insect farming, something new to her that made her realize, at last, that she wasn’t aging, as if the world was evolving without her. So, she learned to perform the practice as well and spent a lot of her time experimenting with her body, and the bodies of her growing collection of pets. When she wasn’t doing that, she was cooking, and when she wasn’t doing that, she was gathering whatever new tech she could find and place it in a house she owns near the Amazon rain-forest.
Other:
•Lynzee mostly cooks with her own beasts, adding either bugs or caprines to many of her meals. That activity alone is a good summary of her mentality: life is wonderful, but so’s death, and a dead thing should be used by the living to honor it, because why would you waste a nutritious meal with tears.
•Lynzee spends a lot of time discovering the joys of the internet. So much knowledge to gather!
•Lynzee is also a bit of an artist, using some of her fireflies to create wonderful light shows, which she sometimes posts on Youtube with fitting music. Another one of her hobbies.
