Appearance: Solak has quite a tall bearing, but wears it confidently, always standing to the fullest height possible. She's rather lean, and moves easily. She wears leather armour more often than not, as she finds it lighter, though wears a light shirt of chainmail underneath. When not in armour, she'll tend to wear a long tunic slit up to her hips with light embroidery. Her ears are pierced almost all the way up, but she rarely uses them.
High up on her shoulder and normally hidden is the crest of the family she used to belong to, underneath a branded number. Her skin is russet, with some freckles spattering her arms. Her long, dark brown hair is normally pulled back into a plait. Her light green eyes are extremely expressive, a window to her emotions.
Her sword and her dagger-thingy. She has a bow too.
Personality: Solak is quite transparent with her emotions, letting them show freely, if not on her face than at least in her eyes. She seems quite laid back, but is always alert and observing her surroundings. She'll quite often be restless and moves around a lot. She tends to have bouts where she will be quiet and unapproachable, though normally she is very easy to talk to.
She doesn't belong to a specific order of Knights, she left the one she had trained with soon after she had gained her knighthood. She normally fights for herself, but if she feels that someone needs her help, then she may offer it. She has a soft spot for children. Though she acts for herself, she does her utmost to respect the law and tries to make sure it is followed by the people she knows.
She can sometimes be prideful, and doesn't like to accept a defeat.
Strengths: Solak is a strong fighter and rider, and uses her skills to the fullest when she does fight. She can also use a bow fairly well. She is agile and fast.
Weaknesses: She tends to have an apathy towards fighting for a cause, and doesn't like working with other people. If there is plan where she needs to cooporate, it doesn't normally go well.
History: Born into a poor family, Solak was sold at a young age by her parents. She was quickly bought by a thieving ring to help them rob people, but when she refused to do so, they gave her a good beating and sold her on again. She was passed around a few times in the same fashion, and had started to cultivate a hatred of humans by the time she was 7. She would lash out at anyone, and as the slavers couldn't sell her, they were contemplating disposing of her. As they were travelling, they were attacked by a pirate ship and saved by the young shiphand (Rohan).
After the pirates left her in a town, she soon became enamoured with the knights there, and made every possible effort to join them, working endlessly to scrape together the money and sympathy needed. She worked hard as a squire, and trained until they couldn't protest about a street child joining their ranks. Though she enjoyed being part of the knights, she found it hard to accept that some would turn a blind eye or participate in crimes, and soon left to try and find a place where she fit in.
