I was born in berlin / germany, but my mother-tongue is english because my mom is irish.We moved around (mayo-berlin etc. ) for quite a while, and still havn't defined ourselves to one country. My father died last year in february, and that was an emotional shock for my whole family. But as well as that it brought on a problematic relationship with my grandmother, with whom we now have only a formal relationship.
