Asuanna has been targeted since she was young by a group of said purists called the Ankoku, that believe that she is the prophesied Ashi in ancient text, who is said to be the human daughter of all evil and darkness, brought to ultimately destroy the world. But, she doesn't believe it, only being 13 years old. If anything, she's just a scared little girl who probably doesn't deserve something like this. Though, she is assassinated, shot through the heart while foolishly walking in the open. After her sad death, her adopted parents plead with the top engineer and doctor around, Dr. Mutosuki, to bring her back before she's all gone. Feeling sorry for the girl, Dr. Mutosuki agrees, and for three months, he tries his best to rebuild to girl and somehow revive her. Miraculously, maybe with the help with her ancient abilities, she survives, brought back into the world as half girl, now half machine, all her chest organs replaced with machine replacements, and bones enhanced with metal carbon that can grow and heal back to normal if damaged. Though, she does have a weak point. Her brain, the only remanent from her original body. Now, with the help of Dr. Mutosuki and his nephew Satoro, Asuanna decides to find the truth behind her abilities. As the Ashi, can she stop herself from destroying the world? This ancient enemy, the daughter of good and purity, the Megami, who is she?...And the greatest question of all...Is she really the Ashi?
