A small French hospital is overwhelmed with patients when a gas explosion leaves 15 severely burnt victims. Newly qualified Polish nurse, Lena, is overwhelmed and unable to comprehend the injuries she is seeing. Along with other members of staff at the hospital, Lena realises that the injuries are not all consistent with a gas explosion and that something unnatural is going on.
