My English teacher gave us some writing advice on creative stories.
The first thing he said was "Go with your instinct but make sure your message is understandable". Which is nice like it's a piece of good advice.
And then he said, " If you don't know how to end a story, kill them, kill the characters, painfully." Like...That...is 1 probably the mind of almost all the authors ever before they kill your favorite character and 2 surprisingly amazing pieces of advice.

Soooo. I'm writing a story with an Irish character. Does anyone know how to write an Irish accent? I don't want to use only "he spoke with an Irish accent". Thx.
MaybeAndrew Okay okay okay I’ve done a lot of research on this I’ll get back to you soon. I’ll love the Irish accent and I wrote a 200 page story where the main character had an Irish accent and it was really fun. When I have the time I’ll give you all the stuff I learned

Yesterday was our last English class before New Year's eve. We wanted to surprise our teacher because he is our favorite. We decided to all have our camera closed and then when he asks why he can't see us we would "fix it" and turn them on but instead of seeing us he would see little messages we wrote him like "Thank you for making 2020 a better year". Our teacher started crying and he told us it means a lot to him. I started crying and we were all really happy that we did this surprise. It was a really moving moment and I'm glad we did it.

So this happened today...I've been really busy with school and didn't get to chance to write a lot, which is really annoying, but my English tutor had an idea today. First, you should know that my English tutor is an amazing person and we know each other for 5 years and, despite the 20 years difference, we are really good friends. So she had the idea that we should play a game we played before. She will give me words and I'll do a SHORT story out of it...
Her: Please make it short not a novel.
Me: Of course! When have I ever made it to long?
Her:... I stopped counting after around the 5th or 6th time...
Me:...
*two minutes later...*
Her: Ok, I'm listening.
Me:...Mmmm....Well...the short part didn't really work out...
Her: MISS!!!!
Me: I will only tell you the prologue! The plot is not complete.
Her: I GAVE YOU TWO MINUTES!
Me:...
PS: I'm actually going to post the prologue hopefully soon.

So after we have 8 or 9 TESTS our teachers don't correct them??? Because they don't have time???? Really???
Lib augh I get this D: We passed in our assignment and tests for science and the teacher says she's still not done them and it's been two weeks since the test and a week since the assignment adfklsjglk >.>

We go to school for one week and one week online. I can't decide which one is worse... If we go to school the teachers give us a lot of tests( last week we had 8 or 9) and when we are at home I am tired of staying on a chair and talking to a computer! And in both cases, I don't have time to write!!!
