In case anyone else needs the reminder:
It's okay to take time for yourself, heal through whatever needs healed. But you can do that and still care and love others, even when they break your heart. Just keep loving.

Home
The sun sets behind the mountain,
casting shadows all around.
Making pink clouds and a pink sky.
Sitting on the hill I dream of faraway places,
just waiting to be found.
Then winter comes, cold and snowy,
and then I think how nice it is to be home,
Where the fire blazes warm and inviting,
and all is snug and calm.

@Messenger, @Jaybird, this is my challenge submission. I wrote this when I was 10 years old, it's the first thing I've ever written, unless you count my mom writing out my stories from 3-5 years old.
