Happy birthday! <3

Decided to throw away my social life (what a surprise) and celebrate the final hours of 2018 with my cat. I’d say this photo really captures the sprit.

My English teacher is making us write a Thanksgiving themed poem, which is cool and all, since I love writing poems, but she put so many restrictions and rules that it really isn’t enjoyable.

The poem has to be in the turkey’s point of view, and we also have to include a chase scene between the turkey and the farmer since he’s trying to kill it, and we also have to make sure to include the turkey’s “thoughts” while it’s being cooked and eaten during dinner. It also has to be four stanzas with four lines each, and with a rhyme scheme of AABB. It took me an hour to write two whole stanzas, so writing the last two is gonna be FUN.

I just finished reading The Unicorn In The Barn by Jacqueline K. Ogburn for a reader selector program I was chosen to participate in. And let me tell you - that was probably one of the saddest books I’ve ever read. It all starts to happen near the end of it and so many things hit you in such a short time and I couldn’t hardly handle it. I can guarantee you that I cried at least five times.

Some good updates about the good ol’ school.

Our science teacher is getting fired! But since they don’t want to fire him and get a new teacher in the middle of the semester, we should be getting a new teacher when we come back from Christmas break.

Our social studies finally told us the things we needed about History Day so we can actually start working on it now. But someone else in my class chose Salem Witch Trials as well and now our teacher’s gonna have to draw a name to see who can do it and I’m soooo nervous oh my god.

Computers still sucks.

The girl I mentioned that used to hate my guts came back yesterday and nothing has happened so I guess everything is fine for now.

A boy that I used to have a major crush on last year sits next to me in Art and if he isn’t doing his work he’s flirting with me and I don’t know what to do HELP.

We haven’t been in school for a full two weeks yet and I can already tell this is gonna be a wild ride this year.

Everything is on computers from now on. We have NO class books anymore, we have to do everything on outdated chrome books. Which is not a good idea at all, considering half of my grade doesn’t have either a computer or internet at home to do our homework on. Some of the teachers are refusing to believe most of the students, saying they just don’t want to do their work at home.

We have a new science teacher, and all he does is degrade us and make fun of us. He LOVES making fun of my glasses and teases me for being a little chubby, he likes to call me baby pig and so on.

History Day. All eighth graders have to do it but our social studies teacher won’t tell us anything about it. Like she gave us the choices of topics to choose from (my partner and I are doing the Salem Witch Trials if anyone was interested), but she hasn’t told us anything else. Like dude, this project takes a while to do, and it’s due in February. Get it together.

I’m pretty sure our principal is sexist.

Our computers class isn’t even computers. The school ordered new ones for us so there wasn’t even computers in the room until last week. And we’re not even doing anything computer related. Our teacher is just shoving that STEAM stuff (which is kind of computers, but still, to me it feels more like a thing you’d learn in science) down our throats and doing so by thinking it’s the best thing in the world, when in reality everyone in that class hates it. I’m so glad this class only lasts for a semester.

A girl that used to hate my guts for some reason, but moved away halfway through last year, is back, so I don’t know what’s gonna happen.

We have an XBox in the living room for everyone to use whenever, and since my brother used to own it he kind of decides who gets to use it and all, and today he let me get a hold of the controller.

And it was one of the biggest mistakes of his life.

Is anyone else a fan of Evelyn Evelyn? I’ve recently got into the duo and I’m quite amazed and a bit obsessed with them.

I was at Walmart and I heard these two girls talking behind me and I heard one say “South Korea is just a Walmart brand version of Japan with better music” and I almost lost it right there.

This is the first ever Fourth of July where I don’t feel in the mood to light fireworks.

I guess my friends were about my negative look on most things taking a toll on me.

My relationship with my brother is so weird. Like we’ll be screaming at each other over a pointless argument and then about an hour later I’ll be spotting him while he’s lifting weights because I’m scared something will happen, and when he’s done I’ll go cook three or four packs of noodles for us to eat I swear.

I’m terribly sorry for being basically ecxtint for a couple months (I don’t have any reason, I just didn’t have any motivation) but a couple things have happened to me while I’ve been gone, and I figured you’d like to know them.

1. Our landlord finally let us have a pool! We’ve been living in this house for almost 9 years and it felt like I was getting one for the first time, even though I had one in the first house I lived in. (And our cat always tries to swim in it and his hair is always in the water and it’s so annoying hnghhh-)

2. About a week ago I got into a wreck on my Side by Side because I let my friend drive. I was messing around and we decided to go on a gravel road that would take us to the next town over, and since the road was about a mile long and completely straight, I let her drive. But she saw someone in front of her that she knew and didn’t like so she sped up and started to swerve and we went off the road. We didn’t hurt ourselves and didn’t damage the side by side, we just drive into a field and ran over a small tree and got thorns all over us. But shh, my parents don’t know it happened.

3. Uuuuhhh I’m pretty sure that’s it. My life is boring I know.
