Why is it every time I go to submit poetry for publication all of a sudden I hate all my poems.

So I finally set off on what I always wanted to do...I started my own literary magazine! It's called Red Rover Magazine, and its mission is to promote mental health through the process of writing. We're looking for poems, fiction, and photography/artwork.

Update on trying to become a published poet...
Including two acceptances into my college's literary magazine, I'm now 2-21 for the year. Still currently waiting on a reply from 13 other journals.
It's a lot of fun just learning about and getting to read from all sorts of different journals! Still just getting started ^^
alliyah Oh how neat - congrats on your college magazine entries! I've been submitting to some different contests too this year, it's a lot of fun.
