Hey, you. I'm gonna post on your wall so it looks a little alive.

How are you? How's writing going? Any cool new ideas you want to integrate into your stories?

Ultimately, your undergraduate education is what you make of it. You can get a great education out of a school with a meh reputation if you put in the effort to do so. Similarly, you could get a crappy education out of an Ivy League if you didn't take it seriously.

A lot of people shell out the cash for the most expensive places because of pride and arrogance, or because they think a prestigious reputation will give them a better education automatically. Or they think it'll be impressive when it comes to get a job.

Depending on what sort of job you're looking to accomplish, impressing people may or may not matter. Business? Probably. Law? Probably. Other things? Not so much.

That's not to say that it doesn't matter where you go. If you get a degree in ABC from College X, and College X has a horrible ABC program, that doesn't do anything for you, now does it?

Ultimately, pick the university with the best environment and best program for *you*. That's what's most important. Not any reputation or where your friends go or where you family wants you to go.

TheArchon Thank you for your feedback!!! This really helps a lot!!!
