  • Had no project this morning to start NaNo with. Then this little plot bunny came to me while I was cooking. Actually quite excited about this. Fictional memoir of a travelling cook in a fantasy world.

Managed to go away without even intending to this time. Life pretty much eats you up I guess. It's been a rather horrible half year as well.

  • Broke the 25k mark today, having written 2.6k words of straight gibberish in 50 minutes. I'm positive I won't understand a word of it going back, but words are words! #nano

    Mageheart Congratulations!

    Lib That's amazing!! Congrats! <3

  • Hit 20k just now after not writing for a day and doing minimal work for another. I've been napping a ton more, which I will eternally blame for my lack of writing. #nano

Mageheart Congratulations on 20k! I'm not sure if you're following the 1,667 words daily plan or not, but you're actually ahead if you are - so even if you feel like you aren't writing all that much, you really are. :)

StefanosVorkas @Magebird I'm kind of following it loosely, but I'm looking to finish up NaNo by the 24th as the new World of Warcraft expansion releases then and it will eat up all my time

  • Used the first day of the weekend to do my previous two day's daily pars, which I missed, as well as today's par, so currently sitting at 16250 words. Anything over 1.5k tomorrow is just going to increase my 'cushion'. Feeling really good about this #nano , and more importantly, i'm having a lot of fun with it. My characters keep changing and evolving. Pantsing is fun, Sci-Fi is fun, I've got some comedic bits, and I'm about to introduce some Horror and Fantasy bits. Exciting!

Shady That's amazing! It always feels good to have a bit of a cushion. Congrats on your amazing progress so far!

  • Side note - this website never fails to make me feel nostalgic about a specific point in my life which I didn't really enjoy, which is a bit of an oxymoron. 2013 was a very very boring and weird time for me, and this website somehow manages to paint it as a rosy and amazing time for me.

  • Today it was really hard to focus and get some writing done, the reality-show level of drama over in the US has had my eyes captured for most of the day. Thankfully managed to double down and hit the daily cap, bringing my total word count to 11.5k #nano

  • Actually fantastic being able to just sit and put words to paper without worrying about university stuff getting in the way. Professional life is treating me well so far! 7.7k words on my NaNo project, writing Sci-Fi is really fun for a change.

Lib That's great that professional life is going well! <3 And omg congrats on 7.7k thats huge for two days!! C:
