Introduction
The only difference between a God and a man is that a God is a God and a man is a man, there is no similarity at all.
A God is powerful, immortal and deserves to rule the world!
Men are foolish, pathetic and are bound to be slaves.
And it's because of this difference that falling in love with a human being is the most undignified sin for a God to commit.
But alas love sees no boundaries and is directed solely by emotions, totally oblivious to logic.
If it hadn't been like this then perhaps my life would've been different and I would not have told you my story at all.
But it is the way it is and hence I am still narrating my story to you.
I really believe that it will interest you immensely to know the story of my life.
Chapter 1
Before I begin my tale I believe you should know who I am.
I am Eos Edgar and I am a Homo Deus, or a God as we like to call ourselves.
I am lucky to be born into the most powerful family amongst the gods and also privileged to be able to call myself the son of Brutus Edgar, the king of the world.
Now knowing all this about me you must be assuming that I am the proudest, happiest and the luckiest kid alive, with an absolutely perfect and marvelous life.
You're wrong!
It's the most horrible life anyone can get.
I wish my life wasn't as it is; I wish Doctor Eosphoros, the man who first discovered magic, hadn't done so, then his children wouldn't have inherited it from him and hence the Homo Deus would never had existed.
Maybe then my life would've been saved from being such a disaster.
But alas, Eosphoros had indeed discovered magic, his children had inherited it and the Homo Deus do exist.
Hence my life is still a disaster.
Ironically, the day in which my life turned into a nightmare was quite a pleasant one.
The afternoon had turned into dusk and the sky was lit with fire as the Sun sank down the horizon.
The air was cool and serene and the cuckoos in the royal gardens were singing with all their heart.
It was one of those perfect, beautiful moments which makes you want to celebrate.
I was standing on my balcony, gazing at the spectacular display put up by the fiery rays of the Sun. There was a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
I closed my eyes to absorb the calmness and the happiness that lay scattered all around me.I stretched my arms wide apart and I embraced the wind.
When I opened my eyes I discovered that I had become air itself!
Earlier all I could do was burn a matchstick or change the color of things; But now I could transform myself into air all of a sudden! Amazing!
I became mad with excitement and happiness. I flew out of the gold palace, past the city and into the forest that surrounded it.
In there by the river I saw a beautiful figure shining from the dying rays of the Sun.
It was a young girl dancing in the forest.
With her thick, black, knee-length hair and her pearl white skin she looked like the moonlight in a dark night, radiating her beautiful charm all around.
Her movements were slow and full of grace. I had never seen anyone dance so beautifully.
I flew beside her and touched her hair, it felt like silk! I came a little closer and smelled her, she smelled heavenly. I had never smelled anything so sweet before.
Of course that butterfly feeling had started in my stomach by now and I began to loose control like a drug addict does after smelling cocaine.
I picked up some courage and caressed her cheeks.
Obviously she thought that it was just the wind.
Now, totally mesmerized by her I hugged her tight.
Startled, she stopped. Maybe she knew that something was wrong.
I don't know what I was thinking but I reappeared before her.
Upon seeing me she let out a little shriek.
"What are you?" She asked, horrified.
"I am a God." I said, shamelessly looking into her eyes and smiling.
"Why are you here? Why did you touch me?"
"I love you." By now I was totally out of my senses.
She slapped me hard and it was then that I realized the seriousness of the situation.
"I am sorry. I didn't mean to stalk you."
"Go away." She said.
"Please give me another chance! I really love you!" I pleaded like a desperate beggar.
"Go away." She said, looking away.
"I really do."
She stared into my eyes for a moment.
"I can see you do. But no!"
"If you are scared of other people then I assure you no one will come to know."
"I am not scared."
"Then why not give me a chance?"
"Because I am a prostitute!"
"I don't believe it!"
She removed her thick long long hair from her front and it was then that I discovered that she wasn't wearing any clothes at all. All over her body there were scratch marks and wounds.
"Go!" She said turning away from me.
"Why do you do it?"
"Because I need food and for that I need money. I don't have any option. Now go."
Instead of going away I went to her. I caressed her wounds and slowly they disappeared.
I slid my hand between her legs and her hymen was restored.
"I will take care of you now."
I smiled.
Not believing her eyes she touched the places where her wounds had been to confirm that this wasn't an illusion.
When she realized what had just happened she hugged me and started weeping with joy.
I hugged her back and I could feel her heart beating against my chest.
For a moment we remained entwined. Then I made her drink some water from the river and then we both sat on the grass beside the river bank.
She gazed into my eyes and I gazed into hers.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too." She whispered back.
Then we hugged, and lied down, still our arms tightly hugging each other.
Listening to the lullaby of our hearts we fell asleep.
