Hi again...?

(I do know there's a Welcome Back thread, and I'll post there if this is the wrong place. Err.)
Hello all! It's been quite a while since my last posting visit (two or three years, I think), and I'm quite honestly flabbergasted by all the changes! The only thing convincing me that this is the same website is a familiar username here or there.

I'm not quite sure what brought me back, but I'd like to see if I could give this place another chance. That is, ah, if I can figure out how to do anything or go anywhere... (I'm particularly interested in deleting old blog posts and relinquishing authority in the clubs, because, well, it's just silly to have a club administrator who is never on.) Lend a relatively old fart a hand?

So welcome back, I don't remember you as I didn't join that long ago but I know that YWS is a very actively changing site and I can understand how different the site must seem to you. The only advice I can give you is to just explore. Hopefully you can enjoy the site like you used to.

Anyway, I'll see you around and if you have a particular question which you want answered or you want to know how to use a new forum or anything like that then just send me a friendly PM and I'll get back to you as soon as time allows. Once again, welcome back and I'll see you soon.

Hey there Inkblot! And welcome back to YWS! I don't know you well because I wasn't around yet when you were active on here, but I may have stalked you once or twice but I'm not so sure (actually I think I've seen you around...)

Anyway, yes there is an I'm back thread! You can check it out and post there to tell people you're back - you might find some more familiar faces avatars or usernames.

And if you want to catch u with all the changes, just go to the Information desk where think the admins have made sure they tell us all the changes they have made.

So welcome back, and I hope you enjoy yourself and that you have not made a grave mistake by returning!

Ah yes! It was a bit difficult on my tiny netbook, but with a mouse it's better. Just from looking around a bit more, everything seems very... social network-y. (Sp? ) Is there a post for etiquette on such around?

Etiquette... official YWS rules and guides is pretty much the only one I can think of. Same old, really.

You have your Feed, your notifications, your guestbook is now your wall where you can post your own status updates, there's the standard forum layout, Groups are now Clubs, you can now create novels and anthologies (Under Read/Write, which used to be Discover Works), Storybooks are now their own section, contests got revamped...

That should cover the bulk of the obvious changes, anyway.

Edit- Also, you can make new admins of clubs rather easily. Although it might've already been done if any of your clubs are active. xD And deleting blog posts is just the X at the top right of each post.

I'd never thought I'd see the day when we'd meet again. We attempted to write a musical together. And it rocked. Please never leave me again.
