Hi everyone. I've just joined here at Young Writers Society, and I need help from someone who would help me at making a good stories and a poetry. To explain myself: I had no interest at literature for a decade until I met a young girl who was good at making short stories. Since then, I was so inspired that I started writing; however I had no idea if I did it properly or not. I am currently learning the basics of a poetry, and if I can able to master it before the last week of September, I'll start making short stories and so on.

You are looking at writing in the wrong way. There is no technical wrong way to write unless it is through punctuation or grammar. You seem like you don't have any problems with that, but we are here to help you!
There is no other way to get better at writing then actual writing stories. This site gives you a place to post them and gives others a chance to review. In the review they will tell you what they liked about your writing style, and what they believe you should fix or work away from.
I am definitely not a poet, but I know a couple things. One is that poetry is very free-based and you have poetic license to do what ever you want. Some people like structure, some people don't. That's up to you to decide. I also don't think it is ever possible to master writing. You can become better, but I find most of the time you just become unsatisfied with it after a while. It is an endless loop of awesomeness because your writing can be brilliant.
So go to the buddy system if you want as the others stated or you can just throw out a story or a poem in the Poetry forums and see what people say about it. From there you can begin your progression forward.
There are a couple rules on YWS though. For one; refrain from chat speak (LOL, omg, ic, brb, etc.). Secondly, to submit a piece of work you have to have a certain amount of points. You get points from reviewing other peoples works, but your reviews have to be over a certain character limit I believe. I don't know the specifics.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy your stay at YWS and I hope to see you around.

Sometimes you may feel your writing is no good and then everyone likes it. Give yourself some credit:) Need any help just hit me up! ( is that a real phrase or did i just make that up off the top of my head XD)

Hey there and welcome to YWS! Well, the comments above seem to have brought you to some helpful places but don't forget one important thing about writing: let it come from the heart. Don't force yourself or stress yourself out. Just relax and find a nice place you can sit in and find inspiration.
Don't try to concentrate too much, but instead let your ideas flow. Don't make writing something difficult for yourself- enjoy it. Once you have your 'just-let-it-flow' draft you can work on that to make it as perfect as you want it!
That's just alittle piece of advice from me! Feel free to ask questions and I hope I'll see you and your work around!
Good luck and remember to enjoy yourself!

Sorry for the delay respond; I had forgotten to check this thread. Anyways, thank you for your lovely opinion. I guess I only need support from someone else. XD I'll be easy on myself this time.
