Now, now, don't say you're writing isn't good, all that matters is that you love what you write. Some authors today have had a lot of trouble finding publishers who liked their stories but that didn't stop them from 'getting a name' out there in the world!

I'm sure with YWS you'll gain more confidence in yourself and your work and you will make friends! If you have any questions, remember to feel free to ask; there are so many people to help you! If you want your questions well and fully answered, just ask the guys in green to help you out!

Remember -> Love your writing and others will learn to love it too. Enjoy yourself!

I hope we'll be seeing you and your work around (to be the judges of if it's good or not mwhahaha!) Only kidding!

Welcome to YWS!! The good thing about this site is that it really does improve your writing (which I'm sure isn't quite as bad as you say ). Even just reviewing other people's works can help you pick out things in your own writing that could be improved. Plus, reviewing helps other people improve, so it's win-win! Beyond reviewing yourself, the other people who review your work also gives you great suggestions on how to improve your writing. There are also a ton of awesome articles at the Knowledge Base.

But, beyond writing, there's the whole community aspect of YWS. This is one of the best communities that I have seen and there are a ton of good people here. So don't be afraid to share more than just your stories with us.

Anyhow, welcome to YWS and feel free to ask me to review any of your pieces. Then I'll say for certain that they aren't as bad as you think they are.

Hello! First thing I have to say....don't ever say your writing isn't that great! The fact that you came to this website and took the effort to join says a lot about how you love to write. Or maybe you joined to become a better writer, which is also a very smart decision because this is one of the best websites I've ever been on in regards to getting critiqued for my work. I've joined quite a few websites like this one in the past, but I've always come back to YWS because they have the most dedicated members and devoted writers than any other site I have joined. Isn't there a quote that says, 'There is no good writing, only good re-writing.'? YWS is an amazing place to improve your writing. Guys here are excellent reviewers. There's also the writing tips and writing tutorial forums which are great for writing articles and links. Also, just by reading someone else's work and the reviews, you'll learn to spot things in other writers' work which you didn't before, and then you'll learn to spot the problems in your own writing. True story.

Why don't you write a little more about yourself?? What else are you interested in, apart from writing? Cause it's an awesome place to make friends as well, by joining clubs and storybooks.
