Hey there! I'm DragonGirl11. Obviously, I adore dragons, and various other fantasy critters. I have several zillion story ideas floating about in my noggin, plus a poem or two here and there. I decided to join YWS because I want to improve my writing skills in hopes of someday making a living at writing. The sooner the better! I kinda suck at making friends and whatnot, so ... yeah. Say hi and chitchat with me and I'll love you forever!

Wow! Several zillion story ideas in your noggin? That's quite a lot! You must be writing constantly to just be able to get through them all!
What's your current project about?

"The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly." ~ Richard Bach
Well... maybe several zillion is a bit of an exaggeration. But, my current project is about a teen were-dragon and her various abnormal friends. Their parents get kidnapped by an evil scientist, and the group of friends have to live at their high school with other abnormal orphans. (No spoilers, just in case I ever post it!)

Yay! Evil scientists! What kinds of things do those evil scientists do?

The evil scientist, Dr. Vren, kidnaps anybody who can use magic and experiments on them. The bulk of the story has a lot more to do with their struggles living without their families and with each other all the time. It's not done yet, so I'm not entirely sure how it's going to end...

Your story sounds super interesting! I would love to read more! Welcome to YWS! I hope you get at least a few billion stories sorted out through here. Not necessarily all separately posted haha! but maybe talking to other people to figure out what happens in the stories. I am pretty excited to meet you! By the way, you can call me MJD for short (most people just do it without permission). Glad to have you!
