Im new here. And I am also new in writing.

I am a Filipino who wanted to write a fantasy novel in English. Fantasy is not well loved by Filipinos so if I wanna be discovered I need to write in English. But the problem is, I find it very difficult and I cant express some good ideas in English. Please help me !!

Another fantasy author, awesome! I'm majorly in love with the genre and had never considered that it might not be popular in other countries, how strange! Yes, I suppose you will find a better market in England and my advice to you is simply to practise. The more you write and read in English, the better your grasp of the language will become and you'll start to adapt to our way of structuring things I'm sure! I don't think I could ever do it but learning the language is the hardest part, now you just need to learn how to put that into action.

And you've come to the right place Post some of your work and the authors here can give you an idea of what you need to work on to improve. Drop me a PM sometime if you'd like a review, and the same goes for if you have any questions at all or are feeling lost. We're a pretty friendly bunch here and always glad to help our new members out

Wow, Filipinos don't like fantasy? That's crazy! Anyway, I'm glad that you've come here... and beside, English is a cool thing to know anyway. Though... um... we don't make lumpia as well as you do. I know this for a fact. >.> (I love your food!)

Anyway, don't worry! If you post your story, we can help you out solidify all those pesky English things. And, the cool thing about fantasy is that you can make up your own words and such, so maybe that can help? In any case, don't worry! We're here to help you.

Thank you very much for all your help. Im some Filipinos love fantasy novel, but in English medium like Twilight, Harry Potter. They do not like reading Filipino(language) Fantasy novel.

the best way to do this is trail and error. Post something you have written and we will help guide you through the process of adding emotion. Just state before you post in a 'spoiler' box what you've already told us (copy and paste this before your poetry/prose, highlight it, and then press the bx that says spoiler at the top).

Hello! I'm Drama, the Llama, Pointe etc.
Fantasy isn't loved everywhere O.O that stuns me. Thats my favorite genre to write! :O

We are sooo glad to have you on our site, it actually isn't that hard, once you master it, and all of us are like awesome. (Not bragging, but we are. there is no denying it.)
