Yeah. I'm new. Isn't everyone at some point? Anywaaay, you can call Curse. I suck at introductions, but here goes?

I started writing at a pretty young age... I believe I started roleplaying at nine. I still do it today, and occasionally I write fanfiction. I do love original stories too, and I write those. The only stuff I actually published is my fanfiction, which isn't really worth linking if you ask me.

I hope that joining this site will help me improve. And that is all for introductions.

Heyy Curse!

Welcome to YWS! I'm not good at introductions either, but I thought yours was fine. :] I am still pretty new to the site, but you catch on really fast. Getting started, I would suggest reviewing a variety of different works before you post something of your own. If you review things for others, they will most likely review things for you!

If you have any questions feel free to send me a message! See you around,

Hey there, Curse! Welcome to the site!

If you’re looking to improve your writing, then this is the place to do it! I remember when I first joined I was such a newb! *this is where I link you to my ubber embarrassing welcome post* And now I stand before you, wholly a very different and far improved reader and writer. Heck, even my art has improved a good deal! There aren’t many people on the site (none that I know of in fact) who don’t love see others improve and help them on their creative journey!

Anyways, what type of fanfiction do you like to write? Way back in the day before I ever joined YWS, I used to write Harry Potter fanfiction. *I just paused in writing this to go look for my old FanFiction.net stuff and I laughed so hard at myself. But most of it was from 2005 which makes me feel a whole lot better I suppose that most of it was from when I was twelve*

But, I’ll quit rambling! If you have any questions about anything, there’s an awesome Questions and Answers area or you can PM me personally!

Have a wonderful day!

Hey Curse!

Welcome to YWS!

Ah, the introductions! I'm not so fond of them either. But hey, this is good! I pretty much started around nine; but I never used to write it down. The stories were building themselves in my head.

Anyway, I like reading fanfics. Which ones do you write?

And, YWS will definitely help you with your writing! It's helped mine a lot.
See you around!

Cheers!

Yay! We hope we'll help you improve also. :D And don't worry... introductions are always awkward, lol. But it's all good in the end!

Also, I think everybody starts with fanfics. I never used to write my fanfics down when I was younger since I hated writing, but I remember telling stories about this fan world where the Warner Brothers characters were at war with the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, while the Disney cartoons were cautiously watching with a neutral stance. It was epic. There was imprisonment, battles, pirate ships, kidnappings, mystery... everything you can imagine, it was in there. In any case, don't feel bad about writing fanfics. They're awesome. I wish I made fanfics of those stories when I was younger! That would have been so fun.

Hello there Curse! :D

I'm Micki and welcome to YWS! You are absolutely right. Everyone is new at some point. In fact, I remember two months ago when I was new, too >.< I wasn't even aware that there WAS a welcome mat! DX And I was totally confused, but I got the hang of it and now I think I spend more time on this website than any other website that I go on O.e but it's nice :3

Everyone here is very welcoming and friendly, I'm sure you'll fit right in. The reviews everyone gives are definitely really helpful and will no doubt help you improve in your writing skills. I've learned so many ways to improve and I'm so glad that I decided to come here to YWS and I hope you will too.

I started with fanfiction too, but I was older than nine XD I only started about two or three years ago. I don't know why I was never interested in it beforehand but I guess my giant imagination just couldn't stay inside my head and eventually I ended up writing ;P (not very well, I might add. Oi, I look back on some of the things I've written and feel like smashing my head into a wall ;P)

But anyway, welcome to YWS and happy writing! I hope you enjoy it here :D

Welcome to YWS! And yes, we're all new at some point, you're right.
Have fun with the site, you'll receive a lot of help from some amazing reviewers. I only started writing a few years ago and I found out how beautiful and breath-taking it was. You've come to the right site.
Please enjoy it and make friends.
These days and until the end of this months, we have four reviewing teams that race to review more everyday! Think about it and join one of them and try to help people out with their writings and artworks.
Good luck and welcome!
I'm back to my YWS after months of disappearance, hoping that I'd gain the immunity of books and quills against the harmful realism of our world.

In case this made no sense, I'm just saying that I'm happy I'm back!

Ah, thank you all for such a warm welcome. It's always awkward being new to places like this where there are so many members.

I actually write Vocaloid fanfiction, which is more like creative writing to me because there's no set canon for it. But anyway, it's fun at least and that's what I like about fanfiction. I've also come up with stories for Sailor Moon, but never actually ended up writing it down.

And omg, yes. I look back at some of the things I've written and laugh at myself. Like the one time I tried to put a dragon rider in a high school roleplay! That didn't turn out well. xD
