About Me
Well, I'm very old fashioned, for a girl living in these times. I absolutely love floral patterns, and my favorite game is Scrabble. I live on the East Coast, and I adore listening to Adele. My favorite song is "Set Fire To The Rain", by Adele. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen. My favorite movie is The King's Speech. My favorite animal is a rabbit. I am 14, and I just turned 14 on April the 12th.

Interests
I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, painting, swimming, horseback riding, lacrosse, flag football, and silence. I love to write poetry, free form or rhyming, and I love to paint and draw all types of animals, especially rabbits, dogs, and cats.

Dislikes
I don't like loud chaotic places, except for New York City. I don't like posers, or girls who always complain about how hard life is, that no one understands, and that they're fat. God made you perfectly. You should love yourself no matter what anyone tells you.

Ah, poems... I'm not much of a poet myself, but I do like to draw... and I like to write fantasy XD

Eck, I don't like posers either DX who does? However, besides that we don't seem to have much in common as I haven't seen The King's Speech, read Pride and Prejudice, or heard of the band "Adele" but maybe I'll check em out XD

Hiya! I'm known as Kafka around here.

So! Just by reading through your post, I can tell you have excellent taste. Pride and Prejudice is an amazing book, and no less could be said of The King's Speech. Poets are always welcome! And, although YWS centers around writing, photography and art have their own nifty little forum, so if you have an urge to share some of your paintings, you can feel welcome to.

As you have probably noticed, some users' usernames, including mine, are colored green. We're just the people who go around making sure everything's going smoothly. If you have any questions at all, I encourage you to go ahead and ask one of us - we'd be more than happy to help!

The two best ways to get yourself known around here is 1) to post your own works and 2) to review others'. Most of us are pretty nice reviewers, and so we'll try to balance our reviews with a nice mix of praise and critique - hence, we expect pretty much the same of you. Really, all you have to do is say what you liked and what you think could use some improvement. There's a handy little checklist to the right of the review you're writing that will help you with this.

Anyway, I hope to see more of you around the site! Again, holler if you have any questions.

I watched The King's Speech with RachaelElg, and YES. Such a good movie! You seem to be a very classy young lady, lol. Nice choices of things. Also, my middle name is Rose too! It's an awesome middle name... not that I'm biased or anything!

I adore Adele as well! But I haven't heard that song...I really like Rolling in the Deep. It's awesome...and I could ramble for ages about Adele. But I won't.

I play Scrabble on Facebook I'm awesome that way. It's a great game. I also play on the board, but not often.

The King's Speech was fantastic! I enjoyed it so much. Have you watched Elizabeth or The Young Victoria? They're both rather interesting and well-made movies.
