Well, I doubt anyone is going to remember me but I used to be really active here about four years ago, I left for a while but I came back and now its probably been a good year and a half since I've been around... I made a new account due to lost passwords and whatnot, but my past usernames have been Moony, moon14 and others I can't even actually remember x) I came back because I've got that writing itch again, and YWS has helped me before in the past, I know it will again. Please, can someone help me out about some of the new stuff going on? I'm a tad bit confused...
Hi Penrose! I'm niteowl, and I've just come back pretty recently myself. I've been on and off the site since I joined near the very beginning, so I've seen a lot of changes to the site. Let's see if I can help you through some of the main ones.
The My YWS tab is a pretty good place to start. There you can add stuff to your profile and set up your preferences.
The "Discover Works" tab takes you to the literary forums. There is no formal rule anymore, but you should try to review at least 2 pieces for every one you post.
Now, you can "follow" people so you can see when they post new stuff or like something. To follow them, just click "Follow username" on their posts. Once you follow someone, their updates appear in your feed. Your feed is under "View My Profile" under "My YWS".
I think that's some of the big stuff. There's also the Question and Answer forum and the Information Desk to help you out more.

Well, I haven't been here when you've first been here. I can't tell what's new and such. But there are some things that's been new since I've registered. First, there's now this new cool layout. The logout log in buttons looks much, much better. Then there's this new badges under the people's profiles who donate to YWS. I don't know what else changed. Hihi... sorry. But I'd like to welcome you back!

Well I have no clue who you used to be but welcome back regardless! Things have definitely changed a lot since you were last online although new old chat might seem familiar. But there's also review day and a bunch of other crazy cool events and such! So enjoy what YWS has become and if you have any questions about anything feel free to PM me seeing as how this place really has gone a bit crazy since you were last here my sure!
