I was looking through all my old writing and I came across this. It was originally just a prompt for my creative writing class but looking back on it I laughed at myself and couldn't believe I had written this. But then I realized I haven't submitted anything on here for a while now and figured what would it hurt? So laugh at me all you want, but I'm going to post this.

I remember when I was first born. I was only a little thing of cotton, and I awaited the day that I would be something more. That glorious day finally came, and I was woven into a purple ball of yarn. It was the happiest day of my life by far.
But I never imagined this was what I would be reduced to. I was now the toy of some stupid cat. All he would do is try to catch me and unravel me. I hate this life. I’m so miserable I only wish I was still a little thing of cotton.
If you’ve ever felt what it’s like to be unraveled, it’s not fun. It feels like someone’s taking out your insides, like surgery while you’re awake and without the worry of something going wrong. It’s just a good thing I really can’t die.
I’ve come to now this cat, Tiger, very well. He’s fairly quiet, and loves to play with me more than any of his other toys. That has it ups and downs. But every time I try to talk to him he just looks at me like he doesn’t know what I’m saying. But I guess that’s what you can expect from cats. I know I’m a ball of yarn, but I’ve never liked them regardless.
He’s an orange stripped Tabby. He’s fascinated by anything that moves. But he seems to especially love string. He would chase anything as long as it was attached to a piece of string. His owners think it’s “adorable.” But their not the string now are they?
Then the day finally came that I was finished with what I was put on this earth to do. I got so torn they threw me away in that big dumpster on the side of their house. It really smelled in there.
I heard the junkyard isn’t such a bad place. All the old strings share their story and we’re free forever, the only catch being we were forced to spend the rest decade in an old trash pile. I’m kind of excited. So I say to you, farewell. We shall see what awaits me.
Let's eat mom.
Let's eat, mom.

Hey there, Gazer. This is really creative. Lol. The fact that the narrator of this story is a ball of yarn is hilarious! I really like it. It made me smile. :D

That is my favorite part! xD

As in for this part:
stargazer9927 wrote:It’s just a good thing I really can’t die.

I would say something like, "Sometimes I resent I really can't die." I don't know, I think I'd be funnier.

But that's just me. :) I think you did a great job!

Haha this was really cute! I love the way the narrator is something different, to make it more interesting I would try not to reveal what the narrator is until further on. Just drop subtle little hints.
As for nit-picks I only have one:

stargazer9927 wrote:their#FF0000 ">this should be 'they're' or 'they are'not the string now are they?

Whoops I lied, I found another one.

stargazer9927 wrote:only catch being we were #FF0000 ">this shoule be 'are' as it hasn't occureed yet and cannot be in the past tense. forced

Other than that it was really good :) Just a few minor errors which happen to us all!
Keep posting :)

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww. This was so cute. I loved that it was the story of a ball of yarn. I had to something similar for English class. I couldn't really find anything wrong with this. Except that it ended. It was very funny. This was good job. Good Luck. And Keep Writing!!! :)
