Hello Everyone! I look forward to reading peoples' stories and writing my own...I've recently decided my ambition to be a writer is stronger than I thought, but I'm having trouble guessing where to start. Tips would be helpful...Comment please
I welcome the both of you to YWS! We're all aspiring authors here, so that's common ground! If you're looking to improve your writing skills, you've come to the right place. You'll get constructive criticism here and learn to write so much better!
Before I introduce you to the Points System, let's learn about the both of you! What genres do you guys write? What genres do you like to read? What colours socks are you wearing?
Now on to the Points System! To post a literary work (or photos or anything), go to Submit near the top of the page. When the link opens, choose the genre your work is in and then post it. It's that simple...almost. You need 100 points to post. To get points, you must review the work of others (that is, comment on them by clicking Post a Reply). However, your review must be at least 250 characters to count and for you to get any points from it. So bear that in mind.
If you have any questions, PM a site moderator (their names are in green) or any member who's been around at least a month. You can PM me too!
Anyway, it'll be nice to see you around, both you and LareenBaker! PM me for anything!

Don't worry about getting help; just about anyone on this site will be more than glad to do so. As Tigersprite said, we are all aspiring writers, or just people who want to be heard through their writing.
