IMPORTANT: Groups Are Gone

As announced a couple weeks ago, all groups have been converted into Clubs (aka Pages). If a group did not convert correctly, please feel free to PM me.


During this time, the groups section actually still exists; it's just not linked to anymore in the header. This will be true for the next month just to ensure against any data loss. However, anything added to or done in the groups section from henceforth will eventually be permanently deleted.

Also, please note that the double trouble group has been moved to storybooks, as suggested by Bolt.

The page search seems to not be working. Not sure why, but as all memberships carried over from groups to clubs, you should see any of your old groups on the My Pages area. If you don't, then it didn't convert.

I love the new taskbar/tabs - simplified and condensed. Awesome

Just a quick note that I know there's more than a few people who are unhappy with the current Clubs set-up. Just keep in mind that everything on YWS changes over time, and the same is true with Clubs. The current lay-out is just Clubs 1.0. Clubs 2.0, on the other hand, will at least have:
- Direct linking to discussions
- Multiple admins
- No google ads on right (allows for more room for the discussion topics)
- Better searching
- Better overall layout

Due to the limitations of the forums, only so much could be done with groups. However, the Clubs set-up is more versatile and flexible, which allows me to do a lot more with it. Over the coming months it will be constantly improved. Already, there are substantial improvements over groups with Clubs such as newsletters, chat walls, and only one minute set-up time (as opposed to waiting for approval).

Whoa! There has been so much activity on the Clubs now! This is cool.
