Not Really New... But Kind of.

So I joined YWS last year, and I'm on here all the time reading stuff, but I don't ever really post on here. It's kind of my back-to-school resolution to actually write some reviews and maybe post some stories or poems. But quit lurking in the shadows, anyway. So, here goes my better-late-than-never introduction.
I write fantasy, and am currently working on a novel. I used to write a lot of poetry, and have been published in two different anthologies. And I have been known to write the occasional short story.
I play a lot of music, and teach piano lessons. So my life is pretty much a whirlwind of creative activity, though I don't devote near enough time to writing anymore.
Well, that's about it...... so bye for now!

You teach piano lessons? I've been playing since I was six or seven. You must be pretty good to be teaching, something I've never even thought of.

You've been published? That. Is. So. Cool. At least in my mind.

Even if you don't go on here all the time (like some addicts I know ) it can be really awesome. I am really glad I will be seeing you around more. The more you explore the more you will see that everyone on here is really helpful. As you probably know it is a great place to get peoples opinions on your work before you decide what story to enter in a contest or send to a magazine.

One great way to get active is to join a storybook, and I'm here to invite you to one run by our very own Griffinkeeper- we are looking for writers and it looks like it will be a lot of fun!
