Hiya! I'm new so..HI! ^.^

Hey!! I'm Cara and I'm 14. I've been writing ever since I could read I'm horrible at poems but I love creating stories. Obviously, I'm new and hopefully I won't be for very long I'm not really sure what I should say..lol

I love writing stories, but I especially love writing dramatic, impacting ones. Most of mine aren't that sad or dramatic, but once in a while I get a story going and I get so into it and it becomes so emotional.. I love that feeling! I think my love of writing comes from my love of reading. My favorite books are Gone With the Wind, Shattering Glass + Dead Girls Dont Write Letters(both Cass McBride) and the Inkspell trilology. It's just so exciting to become part of another world and travel a journey far too exciting for everyday life. It's especially special when your the one who creates that world. That neverland, wonderland, etc.
As much as I love fiction, I also love the thrill of a realistic story.
Besides reading/writing; I love track, basketball, teaching myself Italian(I'm half Italian but my dad only speaks it when he's cussing lol), History (usually), and cooking/baking.

Sooo.. Ya. I hope to have published some stuff soon and hopefully maybe some of you guys could critique it? I'll be happy to offer any advice I can give
speaking if which, I think i'll go do that as well as try to get the hang o this site.

I completely agree about the creating world things. I get so much joy out of writing because it's a happy fun time escape from the real world. Well, it's not always happy fun time in my writing - but it's still an escape! And knowing that someone can read it and enjoy it as much as you do - best feeling ever.

I'm new too, and I totally get what you mean about writing being an escape
Your writing sounds pretty darn close to what I love to read, so message me sometime if you want me to review anything I'm not mean, but I'm critical (in as nice a way as I can be) Most people find it helpful, I know personally it REALLY annoys me if people "review" and are just like "Wow It was great!" and offer no hints for improvement O_O :
