All I know is that the book was great, one of my faves.

I read it a long time ago and would love to read it again... However i can't find it in this stupid country. Even a translation.... sighs*

Comments? Opinions? (To the book, of course).

I didn't really like it.

The plot seemed cliche to the extremes, the writing style was dull... It was just really really hard to get through.

I have not read it in a long time, but I remember loving it when I did. It wasn't the most original thing in the world, but it was strangely fascinating.

Robin McKinley is one of my favorite authors in the world. I loved this book.

I just barely read this, and I have to say I like it better than "The Hero and the Crown". Less dull, with a more interesting plot.

I remember reading this years ago and enjoying it. It's not the best book out there, but it had its moments, and it kept me entertained to the end.

*adds it to the ever-growing list of books to reread*
