But! I found the comments (and the article in general, really) hilarious. Some of them accurately point out that merely being bitten isn't enough to turn you - these physicists need to get their factzorz straight, they're thinking of zombies, yo - and there's lots of fairly current fictions that deal with this. Blade does it pretty well - the idea of blood farms and underground communities. Daybreakers recently took it to the other extreme, whereby vampires did in fact take over the world but very quickly ran out of human blood. Very interesting concept, truly awful movie though.

So I haven't read anything from the link. xD But I think what you're saying is that vampires don't happen just from a bite, pointing mainly towards contemporary pieces?

In Dracula one has to be bitten three times to turn into a vampire. I believe the number is three. ^^ I guess Stoker just isn't creative enough though, not in our times!

This article amused me. I showed it to a friend of mine, but he went on a massive rant about it. He cares too much about vampires. xD

I love vampires, but after reading, what a joke.
