Problem creating a group

I ahve a problem creating a group. The link for the form Nate has asked to fill is showng nothing. Anyone who can help? I have six people interested.

Also how can one become a featured member?

Unless times have moved on, I'm pretty sure that you need to PM Nate in order to create a group. If you involve the name of the group, what it's for, and who wants to join, then I think he'll create it for you. (However, I could be behind the times here?)

The choosing of Featured Member involves a very long, very gory, gladiatorial contest. Participants have been known to get seriously injured, so if you're considering it then I'd bring along some extra padding just in case.

Ok, ok, ok. Not really. Featured Member is a way to recognise a member who has gone above and beyond the YWS call of duty. For example, BenFranks, the current FM, did around 100 (I think?) reviews in his first month on YWS.

Haha, I don't think anyone can promise that you'll be featured member if you do something. It's not all about reviews, that was just an example. But really, I wouldn't worry about becoming featured member and just enjoy being on and contributing to YWS.

What basically happens for featured member lately is Nate asks in the moderator forum, "So, which member has been particularly helpful this month?" Then the mods respond with their choices and Nate picks one of them.

And reviewing does help! But make the reviews as helpful as possible.

I make my choice by dropping sticks (one for each nominee) into a stream nearby my house over which there is a wide bridge. The first stick (nominee) to reach the other side of the bridge becomes featured member.

That's a pretty legend way to go about things, lol

Nah, just be helpful with intending to be. Having your interest invested in the site and not in the glory you might get if you do.
