Hi...I'm new...

Hello,
I'm not sure what to say (write). I'm very new to this whole thing, but I love writing and I'm hoping you guys can help inspire me in my work!

Hey, Shadow, and welcome to YWS. If you're looking for inspiration and a place to be with other writers, you've come to the right site.Here's a few rules you need to know:

-No chatspeak. None. Lol tlkin lik ths isnt gr8, kk?

-Use good grammar.

-No caps lock. In general, don't do it. IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A POINT, MAKE IT BOLD INSTEAD.

-Do at least half as many reviews as you have posts. Ten posts? Five reviews. That's what happens in general.Obviously, not everyone follows that.The old rule was three reviews per post... but I don't think a single person on YWS does that. If you do more reviews, people will be more likely to give you one back.

-Obey the Mods. The Moderators (green and orange names) and Nate are in charge. Leave rule enforcing to them, and report problems to them if you see any.

-Be nice. Would you say it to your friends? No? Then don't say it here. Exception: in your writing. If you have an explicit piece, rate it accordingly.Then, it is okay.
