I'm an old member, but I never really posted anything and it's been so long so I figured I should start on a clean slate. Doubt anyone remembers me in any case.

My favorite genre is medieval fantasy and my favorite author is Steven Erikson. Uhh, yeah.

I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head which I hope to be able to put down on paper in the most entertaining way possible. Written lots of shorts, a quickly declining fanfic going on somewhere, and a novel which stagnated at chapter 2 because I can't stop revising it. But I never really exposed it to much crits, so I think joining YWS would help in that aspect.

Ah, so you're a returning member, eh. Hopefully you'll stick around this time, ja?

Oh, and I think that getting crits on your work is a really great way to spur you on to do more. If you get a positive response then you'll find it much easier to keep writing, and the people of YWS are very helpful and constructive!

Oh yep I remembered it as awesome and I see it hasn't gone below awesome just yet.

Mm well, I'm a 15 year old based in Singapore. I love to read and write and I've been getting lots of writer's block recently. For hobbies... Well to explain my interest in medieval fantasy, I study and practice historical European swordsmanship, specifically the Italian school (which I hope to incorporate into my writing). I'm also a musician, and I looove to draw.

I must also add that I'm a chronic procrastinator.

Medieval fantasy is kind of awesome! And European swordsmanship? GEEP! AWESOME. I'm actually taking a history course this quarter that's supposed to be about modern Europe, but it's more about medieval Europe and how it transformed into the Europe that we know today. It's pretty fascinating, and I have a book list, if you're interested in reading some of the things that the course requires!

Also! An Italian school in Singapore? That sounds like an odd mix!
