Good morning/afternoon/evening to you all, I'm Demetri. I come from TW (teenagewriters.com) and my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to join YWS.
I digress in saying what I do and do not write, because that would mean limiting myself. I dabble in all genres once in a while, but I tend to write prosetry (a combination of prose and poetry) and sometimes poetry. I find myself writing fantasy often, but it's usually just the scraps of an idea and not a real form. Genres that I refuse to dip into are horror and children's fiction. Neither has ever appealed to me.
I don't tend to stick to certain authors. If I find a novel I like, I read it and rarely do I ever read something from that author ever again. I do, however, like the author Lionel Shriver.
I won't say that I'm good or bad at writing (can such a thing ever be determined?) but I'm here to learn.
My interests out side of writing are fundamentally psychology, philosophy and religion, though I remain a fickle agnostic.
If you have any questions, just ask.
