I found it fascinating and a little scary when I first watched it. Then I read the book, and got even more freaked out haha. But I still watched the movie at least three more times after that.

I saw this when I was older! I was scared because I thought they were going to ruin the book (I adored the book) but when I saw the screenplay was by Peter S. Beagle, my fear quickly turned to glee. The movie was pretty much gorgeous too!
