I love writing and I never had anyone actually critique my writing.
Most people just want to be polite but here I have you guys! Yeah!
So you can critique me all you want and don't have to look me in the eye!
By the way did I write critique right?

Hey there, Nick! Welcome to YWS! It's lovely to meet you.

Firstly, I'll just give you a heads up on some of the rules!

1) Plz no cht spk OR CAPS LOCK! This also includes proper punctuation, grammar and capitilization. Well, it is a writers' site!

2) The 3:1 ratio. Basically you need to do 3 reviews for every piece of work you post on the site.

3) If your work has adult content (sex scenes/violence/the f-word) then please put "Rated R" in the title. Some people like to know what they're getting into.

4) Be nice. No flaming people, and please no swearing outside of your stories!

5) Have fun!

Now, some questions about yourself!
Any favourite books? What genre do you prefer? What do you write? Favourite author? Spots or stripes? Do you write with a pen or a keyboard? Seen any good movies lately? Which is your preferred ice-cream flavour? What inspires you to write? What music do you listen to? What can't you live without? Are you a dog or a cat person? If you went to a desert island what three things would you take with you?

You may have noticed that there are different colors around the site.
Blue-Greeters, they help newbies like you, you may have noticed Amy is blue. She's a greeter.
Purple-Instructors, they give you reviews and help if you need it. You can go to the Will Review For Food to ask for a review.
Light Green- Junior Mods, they help in specific forums, and you can go to them for help with something specific.
Green-Moderators, they also help out in the forums like the JM's and they help make sure the site is running okay.
Red-Administrators, they are the awesome people responsible for the site, Nate(creator of YWS) is an Admin.
