So let's get on with those lovely rules, shall we?

~Please rate your work. This allows it to show up on the YWS main page if it's PG-13 or under! That way you'll get more reviews and young members won't go stumbling into it if it has mature content. So, if there is the F-word or sex, please rate it R and rate it appropriately.

~Do not use CAPs or chat-speak on YWS. For example: THAT WAS GREAT! or i <3 dat! We're all writers here, so please post like one. ^_^

~Please review at least two pieces of work before posting your own. This is the 2:1 ratio rule and it keeps everything in balance. If your review is less than three sentences it won't count as a review, so try and put as much thought in as possible. That will help other writers improve on their work, and I'm sure there are others who will happily return the favor.

I usually do some art when i'm not writing, playing outside with friends, or (of course) reading! No problem with the nosyness, haha

Anyways, welcome to YWS! Addicted yet? Most people get hooked right after their Welcome post

Have you checked out the Knowledge Base yet? It's like YWS's own little library! Right at the top of the screen is a stack of books that reads Resources. If you put your mouse over it, a drop down menu falls down and reveals it!

Also, make sure you read about the site transformation. The site will be shutting down August 17 and reopening sometime around August 24th. I know, it seems long (a lot of us are dreading it ) but the site is getting a facelift! The back up site can be found here. More information on this can be found at the top of the screen that says "New YWS Transition Information" in navy blue text.

Have you seen the Groups yet? If not, they're really worth checking out. There are about a million so you're bound to find some that you like. Don't hesitate to join any of them. It's a good way to make some fast friends and really improve different aspects of your writing.

So.... Are you ready for some extremely hard questions? Prepare yourself.
What's your favorite genre to read/write? What kind of music do you listen to? What's your baked good of choice? What's your favorite kind of berry? What's your favorite board game? If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?

Oh, my goodness! A Christian! Yeah i'm Christian too. Having trouble at the moment, but getting through it with God's word.

I love to read fantasy. Stuff mostly about vampires(Twilight[obsessed]), witches, and other unliving creatures of the night. Hehe.
I love to listen to Alternative rock. My most favorite song is called The Party Song by a band called Emery.
My baked good of choice is deffinatly chocolate cake, with ice cream on the side( Not a baked good but an awesome addition).
If grape is a berry then i'd chose that as my most prefered berry, but if not then i'd chose rasberry. I'm don't like the berry itself but in any other form it is amazingly yummy!
My favorite board game is Sorry!!!
And last answer, but not least(haha), is the super power of speed, because with super speed i could clean my room within seconds and finish homework quickly!

Here are a few important rules to remember

2:1 ratio is when you post your writing then write 2 reviews to other people writings.

No caps for example- LIKE THIS don't use it often you shouldn't use it at all

Chat speak is prohibited for example- l8r or ttyl It is not allowed in the chat room either.

Rate your work. (R is for cursing) Pretty much self-explanatory

Most impotantly be creative and have fun.

Blue- Greeters
Black- Normal people
Green- Moderators
Purple- Instructors
Red- Administrators
