Hey how's everybody doing my name is blak88 and I am new here at Young Writers Society and would like some advice on a few things from you guys if you have the time so just send me a message and I'll see if you can help me out

Hi Blakk, welcome to YWS. I'm Peanut! I see that the mods have edited your post, because of the caps. Here are some of the rules, when you read these you will know why they edited it.

*NO CAPS or cht spk<---- both are bad, and we tend to aviod using these ways to talk, since this is a writing site.
*The 2:1 ratio, this means you are supposed to review two works for every one non review you post, it keeps things balanced.
*Rate your work (G,PG,PG-13,R). R works will not be posted on the homepage.
*Please keep language in literature, where it belongs. If you do use language in your work rate the posts PG-13 or R you should be able to pick the correct one.

Just follow these rules and you'll be great on the site. They aren't much but they help keep YWS running smoothly and amazingly.

You've already got the rules, so be sure to follow them. I'd be happy to help you with your problem, though if you're looking for advice you might also want to try By teens 4 teens: viewgroup.php?f=163 . It's one of our usergroups and the people there give some great advice. Though it depends on what your problem is, of course. If it's a writing problem you'll want to try somewhere else. =P

I'm sure you've notice that some of us have funny coloured names, right?

Member: Just your average, everyday member. We're just ... here... to do stuff.
Greeter: They greet the new members, tell them how everything here at YWS works, and the rules! They also get to know the member. They're usually the first person you'll meet.
Instructor: These guys sometimes lead classes, but mostly leave very detailed reviews to your work. Their job is to help improve a writer's writing.
Junior moderator: The mod's in training!
Moderator: They do a bit more than the JM. They help ensure that the members are following the rules, and respecting everyone.
Administrator: Well, Nate created the sight, and Meshugenah and Firestarter help run it. They ensure the sight is running smoothly, and the way it's supposed to. I highly suggest respecting these guys!
Distinguished members: They're special. XD, in a sense, yes, they are. They've got tons of reviews and posts and aren't mods and admins and such so... yeah.

Respect all members of YWS, though, not just the special coloured ones, and you'll get along great with everyone!
