I was deeply moved by this story--and shocked. It was just so raw, and so brutally honest.
I also saw the movie. Of course, it wasn't as good as the book, but I still enjoyed it. They stuck to the original plot and scenes and they even used the exact same dialogue. I really appreciated that
The only things that bothered me about the movie were that: Sodapop wasn't really in it (I liked him) and that he was supposed to have dark gold hair, not dark brown. Also, Dally was supposed to be towheaded. And! Two-bit was supposed to have rusty hair!
The Characters.
They were very, very well develloped. I can relate to alot of them and to those that I can't, I can understand.
So, has anyone else read the book, or seen the movie? What did you think?
•I never realized before how rough things can be, especially for people with a bad rep.
This book really affected me, and I don't think I'll ever forget it.•
