How old is too old at YWS?

I have no idea why people talk about this now and then, but for some reason, a few members have gotten it in their head that just because it says "for ages to 13 to 25" means that if you turn 26, you can't be on YWS anymore. Some even wonder what I'm going to do when I turn 26, as if I would leave the site despite all the work I've put into it...

Let me be very clear on this: That would be a very insanely stupid rule.

If someone wants to say with YWS when they turn 26, then that is Aaawesome with three As. If someone wants to join YWS at age 35, then that's awesome as well. The only thing I ask is that if you're 35, then act like you're 35 and not 12.

So you're never too old for YWS is the answer.

Phew! I was worried about that!

Actually, I had my dad send you an e-mail giving me permission to access YWS as I'm under 13. Just wondering, but did you get it?
Does it mean that I'm allowed on, or am I going to be banned? :(

=P Well that's nice to know. Guess the 13-25 is sort of a 'target age group' type thing, rather than a restriction. >.< I'm ashamed to say if I'd given it any thought I'd have worried about what happens when I get 'too old' to be on the site. Good to know it's nothing to worry about. ^_^ =P
I'm like that song stuck in your head; I come and I go, but never truly dissapear.

And apparently I also write a blog.

I think the 13-25 is a general assumption of the current age of members--not a rule. Even though Nate said it isn't a rule, it's more like "Hey, people who have not joined the site! This is what the site is like..."

I think that is something silly to worry about. :P

Yep, that's what I figured, but it is always nice to have confirmation from the almighty Nate. Sounds good! :D

Lol I always wondered if your account got deleted on your 25th birthday. Well, that's good there's no age limit.

- Well, duh.

It is awesome with three A's.
