We Are Olympus: Vol. 1 Application call

This is a story about backgrounds. The placid undercurrents that bear along great heroes, swirling in eddies of separate lifetimes, branching off into separate paths. You might see them quietly going about their business, occasionally rippling to the surface to disturb the well-worn banks of time and narrative. This is the story of Camp Half Blood, its demigods, and the private struggles of those left in the wake of another's legacy.

We are Olympus

We Are Olympus is a look at what the residents of Camp Half-Blood were doing while the series' main characters were away on their adventures, with a heavy emphasis on interpersonal relationships and how they bend and sometimes break under the weight of such dire circumstances. The aim is to flesh out Camp Half Blood's culture, how characters interact with it, and the impact that its expectations of unflinching heroism can have on its young residents, to not only explain but show in explicit detail how these circumstances made the Battle of New York and the Titan War possible.

All leading towards an explosive twist that will change the lives of every character forever.

The goal is to go through all five books in PJO, and to dig into its aftermath as the world of demigods settles into a new normal. This is a highly involved long-form project with some experimental elements not meant for casual roleplay, so we have made the decision to accept writers by application only. In the interest of confidentiality we’ll be accepting applications through Google Forms. That doesn't mean we're not planning to have fun, though! Our team is seeking writers 16 and older with time, dedication, and passion who have a special love for the Percy Jackson universe and an eagerness to meet new people and try new things. If that's you, we'd love for you to drop in at the OOC chat and submit your application on the Google Form linked at the bottom of this post! Slots are limited, so the earlier you apply, the better!
