Hi everyone, I’m Jadon. I’ve been writing seriously for a few years now, mostly late at night when everything is quiet and my thoughts feel loudest. I’m drawn to stories about complicated people: the kind who make mistakes, carry secrets, and don’t always get neat endings. Most of what I write falls somewhere between contemporary fiction and subtle psychological drama, though I like slipping small surreal details into otherwise ordinary settings. Writing, for me, is less about being impressive and more about being honest. It’s the one place where I can slow down and really examine what I’m feeling.
A few authors have shaped the way I see storytelling. Haruki Murakami showed me that loneliness and strangeness can sit quietly together on the same page. Donna Tartt made me fall in love with atmosphere and morally messy characters. I admire the restraint and emotional precision in Kazuo Ishiguro’s work, and the immersive, character-driven worlds built by Leigh Bardugo. I also keep returning to F. Scott Fitzgerald for the rhythm of his prose and the way he captures longing so effortlessly. I’m here to learn, to exchange thoughtful feedback, and to keep getting better with every draft.
