We are doing a Inktober x NaPoWeek collaboration and bringing you something special.
Mixing the boundless, hand-drawn artistic beauty of drawing with the creative, lyrical artistic beauty of poetry, we are holding a contest for you to write and draw to your heart's content!
Starting from October 25th until October 31st, you are tasked to write and/or draw your poetry and submit your best, inky works. The prompts you'll have to use are any of the 31 prompts in Inktober 2025.
Feel free to blow dust off your antique pencil case, grab a pen and start writing.
There are no strict requirements for what the drawing/writing needs to be, or even if it needs to be written by hand. You can type on your computer like a boring person if you want.
Rules:
- The Poem MUST Be Based Off of One of the 31 Prompts in Inktober 2025
- Any medium of creativity is allowed (i.e pencils, markers, paint, pens, digital, etc.). However, we encourage you to try writing with ink or at least a black pen if you want to!
- Poems must be submitted on this thread by October 31st (Soft rule)
- NO PLAGIARISM OR GEN AI. All works are expected to be original, especially when it comes to art
- Have fun and defeat those inky monsters with your mighty writing and drawing skills (yes, this is a rule)
