ToastMo 2024 - 僕と住んでる怪しい同居人

After realizing how bad I am at writing consistently at Camp NaNo, I decided to do something very different! I will still be telling stories, but through a variety of mediums! Mainly drawing and writing.

Goals:
-Draw (obviously) at least a panel a day.
-Create an outline for at least the first season.
-Work on conlangs (this is just for fun lol. Also, technically this world does have conlangs)
-Create a character profile for each of 'em.
-And again, like always... HAVE FUN ※this is the most important part y'all※


Synopsis
i really like my roommate! he's nice, he's caring, he's handsome, he performs demonic rituals with human blood-
wait uh, now that i think about it... my roommate is suspicious.

As Kyle moves into a dorm to start his uni life, he realizes that his roommate might have a couple... secrets that he's hiding. It's the fact that he's a pandemonium bringing Demon! What is such a Lovecraftian being doing by being his roommate? Why does he seem to be hiding something? Why is he so handsome (wait wut)? Why does he seem so... lonely?
Join Kyle and Justin (yes, the Demon's name is Justin) in their comedic slice of life as Justin just tries to live a normal life and Kyle dives too deep, finding a world of things he was never meant to see (huh? this was supposed to be a slightly scary but mostly comedic slice of life;;)!

I love this idea!! Is this going to end up being more of a graphic novel or a web comic or to be determined?
The premise sounds so fun with so much room for angst and conflict! Can't wait to see how this develops

The first 10 days ig
since my work is very unorthodox to a normal NovMo, I feel that it's kinda hard to make an update every day. I have been working every day tho, and I feel that looking at the final result is the best way to see how things are going for this.

I saw the book trailer thing and now i am creating a trailer. The only problem is, since mine’s a comic, I need to draw Every. Single. Thing… Anyways, I’m probably gonna rush through the drawings in Thanksgiving. hopefully i get it done before the deadline D…
