hi everyone! i’m dove, and it’s so lovely to be here!

i’ve always been drawn to places where stories linger, where words feel like they could come alive if you listen close enough—so i think i’ve found a special little corner here. i’m most at home writing about the spaces between, where dreams blur with reality and memories fade like mist at dawn. it's beautiful, isn't it?

a few things about me: i have a soft spot for pressing flowers and discovering forgotten places, and sometimes i like to imagine that ghosts might be a little lonely too. i love swans and collecting old photographs. when i’m not writing, you’ll probably find me lost in a book somewhere or watching the moon rise.

i’m really looking forward to reading everyone’s words and sharing a few of my own. if you ever want to chat about poetry, please don’t be shy! i'd like to imagine i'm very sweet. i am thankful to be sharing this space with you all! ^v^

with light,
dove

hi dove! welcome to yws!

What a lovely intro message - I feel like that was poetic in itself. I'm excited to read your poetry and anything else you choose to share.

What kinds of books do you like to read? Are you reading anything right now?

Generally speaking, a howling wilderness does not howl: it is the imagination of the traveler that does the howling.
