I was bored so I was thinking of funny stuff and this is what I came up with:

Dearly Beloved,
we are gathered here today to
say our goodbyes.
I regret that our dear friend is dead.
It's a shame that a coconut fell on her head.

PS. IF you like...you can add on to it. This could be fun.

Hahahahaa. You should put this in "Writing Activities" maybe, and we can all add a couple of lines or something

Very funny.
Got a poem or short story you want me to critique?

this truly is pointless. I know that was your intent, but please write with a meaning to. It isn't a bad poem. Just please keep that in mind.
I will always fight back, no matter what.

Poems' don't have to have a point piepiemann22. They can be just for fun, as this one was most likely made for.

Yea, it should be put in writing activities :p it'd be lots of fun to see what other people come up with.

Only one thing, the random rhyming was a tad odd, it doesn't rhyme for the first few lines and then out of nowhere you start doing it ( I just find that a little odd ).

Fun to read, easy on the eyes, nice job.

Sorry, I take poetry to heart. That may be why I said that. That's just how I feel. It is only an oppinion.
I will always fight back, no matter what.

This poem is truly brilliant. ;)

As for adding? I'm too lazy for that, BUT! I think, if you're going to add on to it, I would add it on here:

we are gathered here today to
say our goodbyes.

And I would make it rhyme. Part of the silliness of this is the last two lines, which have a ridiculous rhyme. So I would continue that, with the exception of the "Dearly Beloved/We are gathered here today" lines. Because that's so clichéd, it's funny.

And... there's something funky with the last two lines, as far as rhyming goes. Hmmm...

Anyway, hope that helps! :D

*Rolling in laughter*
I enjoyed writing it and hoped others liked reading it. I posted it for the purpose of making people laugh and I see that it worked. I think I am going to put it in writing activities to see what I get. I made a couple more that I plan on posting. Ridiculous, I know, but hey, it's funny.

your poem is as funny and straightforward as your avatar.
