Yeah, no complaints. I liked it.
I can see everything falling into place. The cell phone, the punch, the picture, the silence. It's falling together better then you think; the average reader would have gotten to this quick enough to ignore what ever imagined errors you think are in the beginning. It's good, Brad, It really is

No real comments here. This chapter didn't do much for me except to offer a little insight into the character of Sarah. She's nice, but a fairly typical beautiful-girl figure.
