Gengar’s Camp NaNo July 23: Not My Circus

Perhaps my goal of completely editing all ten chapters before the end of the month would be done a lot faster if I would stop making dragon puppets

But then again, I need to make enough so that I can legally add “Master of (Dragon) Puppets” to my occupation list on my profile

I’ve done the prologue and the first 3 chapters

I’m editing my story to be more emotional and
I’m legit crying. omg this is so sad, what kind of evil author would do this?

Big update:

I’ve completed my goal; all 10 chapters are done and edited!

Not to get rambly, but when I started writing this, I seriously doubted myself. I expected this to be an overly ambitious project that I wouldn’t actually get done; it was more of an annoying brain child that kept begging me to be written.
But I got it done anyways, and that’s super awesome! I also think I’ve found new methods of writing that work for me, because before Camp NaNo I couldn’t write a lot at a time.

Oh, one more thing: I want to just state that it’s going to take a couple of chapters for the actual plot to kick in. Just wanna put that out there

Also, I may just release the prologue as the first chapter instead. Initially, it was only a couple hundred words and was structured in a way that made sense for a prologue, but I completely re-worked it and it’s the length of a normal chapter.

Also, I’m kinda sad that I’m going to be losing the original prologue chapter title (“Don’t You See? I’m the Narrator and This is Just the Prologue”), but that was based on a song so I took a different lyric from the same song for the new chapter title (“I Believe This May Call for a Proper Introduction”)
