Broken pieces of my soul become a mosaic

I stand in a hurricane of questions
They unending pounding sound of everything never done
Am I doing enough
You say I am worn down like an overused pencil scribbling uselles nonsense
But i feel like I've never done enough
99 things the could have been a hundred
All the things never wondered just one more hour
Just one more hour
I'm not doing enough
I am not enough
Just one more second
Nothing matters but being
Perfect
I need to be perfect
Please, don't be prefect
Be you.

A million cuts
Build a deeper past into
They tell a story
Of every minute
Every minute
Salty tears fell
Or hatred was spoken only in silent locked rooms
Every moments that secret were let free like water over a water fall
Or when all the secrets left untold becomes an unseen hurricane
When you could no longer lie
And say I'm fine.
Every cut has the power to know you down
But you can always pick yourself up.

You can't see it in the everyday
but it's there
Even on the hardest day
you don't see it past my smile
but it's there
there in my heart
turned the deepest blue
faded from the pain
it's lost in the salty tears
falling because of the left behind scent
porcelain never meant so much before
memories hld all power now
memories of all unsaid

You say spring has sprung
But it seems to hidinging
Maybe the rainclouds just have colds
Maybe the flowers just have a lot on their minds
Maybe the butterflies just need a few more minutes of sleep
Because it seems more like
February showers bring may snow
And we'll be stuck inside forever
Until spring really comes
And all we do is complain about the allergies
And wait for winter

I don't know how I feel about this poem either

The sweet scent floating
Through blue skies laced with future
Makes the flowers bloom

Brown feathered Wings fluttering
hopping and hiding
a song floating to the air

Words blur and rearrange
I can no longer read truth
As It all distorts

False smiles awaiting
The dawns silver breaking
Run before they falter
A step toward the morning sun
Awaiting unkown people
We think we know them until the facemask fall
Fall to a monsters reflection
But wich ones are real?
Who do you trust to catch you?
Be careful
You're about to fall

Stars fall from the sky
Falling to dust
Becoming one with the earth
Being crushed under foot
As all the doubters go by
Stars still shine
Even though you've blocked out the light
Believe they still shine
And walk on

Shards lay on the frozen ground
Dirty and chipped
I try to pick them up but they are too sharp
And leave burning scars
They are too broken
I am too broken
Memories erased and tears fallen
A million storys once distorted become whole
The peices slide into place
And the light shines through
And I know my troubles are over
As broken peices of my soul
Become a mosaic

That was totally a photo finish!! I was cheering you on as you got those last poems in, and having had to write 8 poems myself at the very end I know how much work that is. Congratulations on completing NaPo!! Your final poem is quite a perfect ending of your thread's mosaic themes, and I enjoyed the different imagery you compiled there.

I like that you experimented throughout the month with many various themes (again fits that mosaic vibe) and also different voices - some poems had a very strong "I" voice, others were nature reflections, and then others more philosophical ponderings. There's good variety in here!

For me, your final poem and also the one before it with the image of walking over stars that had fallen were some favorites. That star poem is so unexpected and imaginative and I think could be interpreted in a lot of interesting ways too.
