Hi, I'm Miecz!
I'm writing a Star Wars fanfiction trilogy.
I love Star Wars, and I would love to love Marvel, but I'm not allowed to watch that!
I'm also not sure what else I'm supposed to say. . .
Does anyone know why YWS is decorated for Christmas? It's a little late for Christmas in July, don't you think? (I like it better the regular way.)

Hi Miecz, welcome to YWS! I hope you like it here :) To answer your Christmas question, yesterday was the 25th of July, making it the halfway-mark to Christmas, which is called "Christmas in July". The site was decorated like that just for some festive fun! It's back to a normal blue colour scheme now though. If you've got any other questions while you're getting settled, I'd be glad to answer them for you as well (as would any other mods with green names!)

What are your favourite things to read/write? Going off Star Wars and Marvel I'd guess sci-fi/fantasy!

I've never written fantasy, but I've been working on a few sci-fis. (have you read Ignite by Jenna Terese?)
My main WIP is in the future, so I guess it lands in the sci-fi category! I also write in contemporary, and medieval historical fiction.
