I think I'm going to have to drop out. I won't be able to finish my story by the 8th (and it really wants to be too long lol).

I do think I will finish it eventually though. So if you ever see me post a story that reminds you of A Peck of Gold by Robert Frost, that's it. I just won't have enough writing time between now and the eighth to finish it.

Thank you for the lovely inspiration. :)

Done ~

Acquainted With the Night
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.

Aww, I just found out about this. I was just going to request Goethe but I have a lot of work at school so I'm not sure I could finish by the end of tomorrow.
Und so lang du das nicht hast
Dieses: Stirb und Werde!
Bist du nur ein trüber Gast
Auf der dunklen Erde

(And as long as you don't have
This: Die and become!
You are only a gloomy guest
On the dark Earth)

- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Okay, so entries are officially closed (I'm late to post this, I know)! Judging will begin shortly, and then the winners will be announced once they've been decided! Thanks to everyone who entered!

This sounds like a good writing challenge for me! I'll join!
It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.
— Brené Brown
